Personal Brand Photography with Yoga Teacher in Essex - Jac Godfrey
Jac contacted me to arrange a personal brand shoot to create a cohesive and more current look for her website and social media. She felt, over time, her brand had become eclectic and didn’t fully represent her offering. Through her business, Jac offers layers in the overall purpose of empowering people to look beyond the mundane to explore the full richness of their own being.
About Jac Godfrey
Jac is one of those rare souls who brings depth, devotion and presence into every space she enters. She’s a guide, a space-holder and a gentle disruptor of the mundane. Her work invites you to slow down and remember that everything is sacred.
Whether she’s teaching Sanskrit, mentoring yoga teachers or leading through deity yoga and embodiment practices, there’s a deep intentionality behind it all. Jac isn’t here to offer her students basic self care. She’s here to help people connect to their own being through the reminder that we all have the power to elevate our own energy and lives.
The Vibe
Jac wanted an airy, bright vibe for her shoot. She booked a venue with the most beautiful big windows so we had so much natural light to work with. She had a few different outfits and plenty of props to create distinct images that matched each layer of her business.
She wanted to capture herself and her business tools but also some poses with a friend and member of her yoga school to showcase some of the more challenging poses they like to do.
The Shoot
On the day, the light shone into the room perfectly and everything just game together. We were able to swap outfits and props to create such a varied gallery of images that Jac can use across her website and social media to really clearly demonstrate each of the layers of her business that she offers to clients.

The Final Gallery
I am so pleased with the photos that we created together on this shoot. Jac and Paul were up for trying different poses which looked amazing with the beautiful light and we also managed to capture the other aspects of Jac’s business through her well planned props and outfit choices.
